Appealing styling, a strong character and superb engineering: these are the strong points that have enabled the Alfa 147 to conquer a vast, heterogeneous public. Qualities to which the car adds refined interiors and finishing elements and an extremely comprehensive array of electronic and telematic equipment.

There are two Alfa 147 2.0 T. Spark 16V's on display at Geneva, a 3-door and a 5-door, with the lavish, comprehensive Distinctive trim. Both are equipped with the Selespeed transmission that is extremely popular with customers. This transmission, which is not an automatic but a manual unit with robotic activation, combines the convenience of an automatic device with the rapidity of a conventional control. Whether you use the gearshift, which features up and down movement like a joystick, or you prefer steering wheel controls, which are positioned behind the crown.

The range is much more extensive and varied, one of the most comprehensive on the market in fact. There is a choice of four engines: the 2.0 T. Spark 16V (110 kW - 150 bhp), a 1.9 JTD common rail (85 kW - 115 bhp), and two 1.6 T. Spark 16V's (77 kW - 105 bhp and 88 kW - 120 bhp respectively), two types of bodywork (3 and 5 doors), two gearboxes (manual and Selespeed), and two trim levels (Progression and Distinctive).
