Alfa Romeo is Technical Partner of “Seeds & Chips”

 

Stelvio and Giulia are being showcased for visitors to the international food summit. The first SUV in the history of Alfa Romeo guarantees peerless performance and outstanding driving pleasure as a result of its excellent mechanics and engineering, while Giulia is the new paradigm of the brand

 

The third edition of "Seeds & Chips - The Global Food Innovation Summit" is bringing together the most important international Food&Ag Tech organisations, universities, institutions, investors and thousands of start-ups from all over the world. From May 8 – 11, the program features four days of conferences and seminars. Over 200 speakers from all around the world will be presenting interesting points of views on the major challenges related to the production and supply of food. Guest of honour was the forty-fourth President of the United States Barack Obama, who spoke today on the issue of Food Innovation. The topic is extremely relevant and has many economic and social implications. It is currently the subject of in-depth studies involving the use of technologies of excellence.

 

By the side of the protagonists of the event is Alfa Romeo, the technical partner of "Seeds & Chips". During the days, visitors will be see Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia Veloce, which are examples of how technology can improve the experience of consumers on the table and on the road alike. What is more, the Stelvio SUV fits the Alfa Romeo Q4 all-wheel drive system, and can be equipped with mechanical self-locking rear differential for the ultimate in road-holdin.

 

Giulia Veloce stands out for a number of sophisticated style elements, like specific bumpers and glossy black exterior window frames, and quintessentially sporty contents, like a specific rear extractor integrating the twin tailpipe and 19" five-hole alloy rims available as optional equipment. The same sporty character is found inside the passegner compartment and under the bonnet: it comes with a 2.2 Diesel 210 HP or a 2.0 petrol 280 HP engine, both paired with Alfa Romeo Q4 all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission.
