The fourth edition of the SBK Superbike World Championship 2011 will be taking place at the Monza track on 8th May, again with the historic participation of Alfa Romeo as Top Sponsor and Official Safety Car.

This sponsorship is particularly in keeping with the sporty values expressed by Alfa Romeo. In every race, the SBK riders are preceded by the Alfa Romeo Safety Cars, four 1.4 MultiAir 170 HP MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde in the exclusive 8C Competizione red, devised to capture the attention of a large audience. The initiative has high visibility, and involves both visitors to the tracks as well as the distribution network and their customers.

In addition, Alfa Romeo will be on the track, in the warm up and before each race, including the competitions taking place as part of the World Superbike championship, namely Superstock 600 European Championship, Superstock 1000 FIM Cup and the World Supersport.

The SBK World Championship is an event that involves 95 TV stations for a total of nearly 3500 programming hours throughout the sporting season, in addition to growing public participation both on the track (over 1 million participants) and at home (more than 2 billion viewers in 2010).
